Edmunds has named the F-150® Lightning ® the 2024 Edmunds Top Rated Electric Truck, its second win in a row.
“Building on the appeal of the gas-powered F-150, the Lightning combines extra versatility with effortless performance,” said Alistair Weaver, Edmunds editor-in-chief. “With its broad capability and rugged appeal, it feels less like an electric truck and more like a truck that just happens to be electric.”’
Unveiled in May 2021 as part of the fourteenth-generation Ford F-Series, the Ford F-150 Lightning is a full-size light-duty truck powered by a battery-electric system. Featuring four models, all are equipped with dual motors and four-wheel drive, boasting EPA range estimates ranging from 240 to 320 miles.
