Mullen Automotive, Inc. (NASDAQ: MULN), a rising star in the electric vehicles (EV) manufacturing sector, announced today that Bollinger Motors has received orders for 40 B4, Class 4 EV trucks, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey. The total value of the orders stands at an impressive $6 million.
The anticipated commencement of production for the Bollinger B4 chassis cab is set for mid-2024. Notably, the vehicle is expected to qualify for a federal purchasing incentive of 30% of the total vehicle cost, up to $40,000, under the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022.
Robert Bollinger, CEO of Bollinger Motors, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “The B4 has been very well received to date and it’s great to see our first 40 vehicle orders coming in well in advance of production start”.
Mullen Automotive’s CEO and chairman, David Michery, added, “I am proud of the Bollinger B4, which will be American-made in the great state of Michigan.”
The Bollinger B4 chassis cab is a groundbreaking, all-electric Class 4 commercial truck designed to offer fleets a customizable solution tailored to their specific duty cycle needs. The electric trucks aim to streamline the transition to electric vehicles with minimal downtime.
