Expanding on recent advancements, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced additional elevations in its senior management team.
Effective January 1st, 2024, the following changes have been implemented to support TKM’s strategic expansion in the country:
- Mr. B. Padmanabha assumes the role of Executive Vice President overseeing the Manufacturing Function. His responsibilities will encompass production oversight and related functions across the company’s two plants.
- Mr. G. Shankara, previously Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer, now holds the position of Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration. He will spearhead functions including HR, financial strategies, and operational planning.
Moreover, Mr. Vikram Gulati continues in his role as Country Head and Executive Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Governance. Mr. Gulati’s focus remains on steering policy matters aligned with national objectives, managing External Communication encompassing Public Relations, and overseeing Corporate Governance. Concurrently, Mr. Yoshinori Noritake has been appointed as Executive Vice President for Technical and Purchase and Chief Technical Officer. His purview covers all technical and procurement-related affairs.
These developments are geared towards enhancing efficiencies, fostering flexibility, and ensuring future readiness. The aim is to establish long-term synergies between corporate objectives and business expansion strategies, further strengthening TKM’s operations in India.
