The Audi Q8 e-tron Dakar1 edition is derived from the Q8 advanced 55 e-tron quattro2, featuring a net battery size of 106 kWh (gross: 114 kWh). The quattro drivetrain, equipped with two motors, delivers 300 kW in boost mode, generating a torque of 664 Nm. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 5.8 seconds with standard tires, and 5.9 seconds with General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tires. The WLTP-rated range is up to 487 kilometers, with a top speed limited to 200 km/h (124 mph).
Compared to the base model, the electric SUV with General Grabber AT3 tires boasts a 31-millimeter higher ground clearance, designed for enhanced performance on loose surfaces like gravel or snow. The vehicle’s ground clearance is 206 millimeters in the base setting, gradually lowering at higher speeds for improved aerodynamics and stability.
The Q8 e-tron edition Dakar1 exhibits a distinctive exterior, available in Siam Beige metallic, Mythos Black metallic, and Magnetic Gray. Noteworthy features include a Singleframe in body color, optional projection light in the Singleframe, and “edition Dakar” LED lights projecting onto the street upon door opening. A unique decal package inspired by the RS Q e-tron is also available, limited to 99 units.
