Erisha E Mobility Inks 6,900 Crore Agreement with Gujarat Government for Green Hydrogen and Mega EV Park

Erisha E Mobility Private Limited, a trailblazer in sustainable energy and electric vehicles, is reshaping India’s mobility landscape through groundbreaking Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with the Government of Gujarat.

These MOUs signify a collaborative effort to explore, develop, and execute innovative solutions in renewable energy. The focus is on Green Hydrogen production and establishing an Electric Vehicle (EV) Park, along with deploying 100 cutting-edge EV charging hubs across Gujarat. This endeavor involves a substantial investment of INR 6,900 crores.

Dr. Darshan Rana, Chairman and Managing Director of Erisha E Mobility Private Limited, expressed enthusiasm about partnering with the Gujarat Government to accelerate EV adoption. The collaboration between their electric mobility expertise and the government’s sustainability commitment is expected to make a significant environmental impact, driving Green Hydrogen adoption and fostering economic growth.

These MOUs were formalized in the presence of Gujarat’s Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel ji, and Dr. Darshan Rana.

Similar agreements, totaling an investment of INR 6,300 crores, have recently been inked with the Governments of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. This elevates Erisha E Mobility Private Limited’s total investment to INR 13,200 crores.

The proposed 320-acre Electric Vehicle (EV) Park, a pioneering initiative in the region, involves an investment of INR 1,500 crores. It aims to be an innovation and research hub for electric mobility, fostering collaboration among EV manufacturers, ancillary units, technology providers, and researchers. This initiative is expected to generate employment for 5000 individuals, both directly and indirectly.

Furthermore, the project aims to establish a robust charging infrastructure by installing 100 Electric Vehicle charging hubs across the state, with an investment of INR 400 crores. These strategically positioned hubs will ensure convenient access to charging facilities, promoting the adoption of electric vehicles and reducing the transportation sector’s carbon footprint in Gujarat.

Erisha E Mobility Private Limited, with European partners specializing in Green Hydrogen, plans to build an ecosystem for Green Hydrogen using renewable energy resources. This initiative in Gujarat involves an investment of INR 5,000 crores and is projected to generate employment for 4000 individuals, both directly and indirectly.
