Efforts are underway to transform Ayodhya into a global religious tourism hub, especially with the upcoming consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir on January 22, expected to attract VVIP guests from India and abroad.

The government is making specific arrangements, including the introduction of 12 electric cars to ensure eco-friendly transportation for VVIP tourists.

These electric cars, stationed at key locations such as Ayodhya Cantt Railway Station and Ayodhya Dham Junction, aim to provide a convenient and sustainable travel experience for visitors exploring religious centers like Ram Janambhoomi, Suraj Kund, Suryu River, Bharat Kund, and more.

The electric car service, available through a mobile application, offers flexible fare options, starting at Rs 250 for 10 kms and going up to Rs 3000 for 12 hours.

As Ayodhya progresses towards becoming a net-zero carbon emission city, additional electric cars will be deployed, enhancing the overall tourist experience and contributing to environmental sustainability.
