In November, Ola Electric experienced its highest monthly scooter registrations, totalling 30,000 units, driven by robust demand during the festive season.

The company, relying on data from the state-run VAHAN portal, reported a 30% month-over-month growth and an 82% year-over-year increase in registrations.

Ola Electric claimed a significant market share of 35% in the electric scooter segment for November, outperforming competitors such as Ather Energy, Okinawa Autotech, Ampere EV by Greaves, Hero Electric, and TVS Motor Company.

Anshul Khandelwal, the Chief Marketing Officer at Ola, expressed the company’s position as the preferred choice among customers, anticipating a continued positive trend in December.

Ola Electric emphasized its commitment to advancing India’s transition to green mobility. Maintaining its market lead for the past five consecutive quarters since September 2022, Ola Electric attributed its success to the strong reception of its expanded S1 scooter portfolio, introduced in August 2022.

Both the Ola S1 Pro and S1 Air scooters have received favorable responses from customers. The flagship S1 Pro is priced at Rs 1,47,499, while the S1 Air is available at Rs 1,19,999.
