Switch Mobility is gearing up to launch its new EV range at the next Auto Expo 2023, which will take place from the 13th to the 18th of January 2023. The EV maker will participate for the first time, showcasing the all-new lev series, which caters to last-mile transportation applications, as well as electric buses in the EIV series.
At the Auto Expo, the firm will display the top model of the Switch EiV 22, India’s first electric double decker bus. The Switch EiV 22 electric bus has a 231 kWh two-string, liquid-cooled battery with a dual gun charging system, providing an intra-city application of up to 250 km.
The electric bus is a semi-low-floor electric double-decker with a bigger rear overhang door and a rear stairway. The air-conditioned bus has a greater passenger-to-weight ratio thanks to its lightweight aluminium body structure.
