BYD DiSus Intelligent Body Control System (DiSus System) has been launched. The self-developed full stack BYD DiSus System is solely intended for new energy vehicles (NEVs). As a result, BYD is the first Chinese automaker to own intelligent vehicle body control technology.
The Intelligent Damping Body Control System (DiSus-C), the Intelligent Air Body Control System (DiSus-A), and the Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control System (DiSus-P) make up the DiSus System.
BYD offers a systematic solution for vertical motion control, as opposed to solutions that are primarily focused on a specific technology or component upgrade.
The BYD DiSus System fully utilised NEV advantages in electrification and intelligence to construct a comprehensive system of perception, decision-making, and execution to greatly improve the driving experience. Meanwhile, the DiSus System allows collaborative control in body dynamics (lateral, longitudinal, and vertical movements), laying the groundwork for future Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) development.
DiSus-P will first be outfitted with a Yang wang U8 and DiSus-A with a DENZA N7. Over-the-air (OTA) upgrades will be available for a variety of BYD HAN, BYD TANG, and DENZA models that have hardware availability.
The DiSus System, as a systematic body control system, ensures the vehicle is agile and effectively compatible in most driving scenarios, reducing the risk of vehicle rollover and occupant displacement during high-speed cornering, full-throttle acceleration, or emergency braking. Furthermore, the DiSus System can safeguard the car from scratches and damages in a range of road conditions, including snowy, muddy, and water regions.
The DiSus System will be offered in a variety of models under the BYD Dynasty, BYD Ocean, DENZA, Yang wang, and a new brand debuting this summer that specialises in professional and personalised identities.
