Zypp Electric, India’s largest tech-enabled EV-as-a-service business, today announced the addition of Gajendra Arya as Senior Vice President of Technology to its executive team. This hiring is part of the company’s continued efforts to enhance its leadership and create the country’s largest EV-as-a-Service tech ecosystem.
Gajendra Arya has almost a decade of startup experience, having previously worked with well-known firms such as CarDekho as Senior Associate Director and Escrowpay as CTO. He graduated from the famed IIT Bombay 2005 class and will now be in charge of developing Zypp Electric’s technical strategy. He will help to create and revise the product journey, as well as design a robust and scalable platform that is aligned with customer demands and company goals.

Zypp Electric just secured $25 million in Series B funding led by Gogoro and a few other new and old investors. It has also entered Bengaluru, with the goal of deploying 4 lakh e-scooters and expanding to 30 cities by 2025.
