The Ministry of Defence, Government of India has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for purchasing 439 light electric vehicles and 35 fast electric vehicle chargers.
The procurement falls under the Buy (Indian-IDDM) category with a requirement of at least 50% indigenous content.
Among these, Indian Army will procure 415 light electric vehicles (LEVs) with 29 EV Chargers and Indian Air Force will procure 24 LEVs with 6 EV Chargers.
The last date for submission of Pre-bid queries is 2nd May 2023, the date for the Pre-bid meeting is 23rd May 2023, and the last date for bid submission is 4th July 2023.
