Volvo Car India announced the delivery of the 200th XC40 Recharge SUV. The electric SUV is presently being built at the carmaker’s Hosakote plant in Bengaluru, Karnataka. “The delivery of the 200th XC40 Recharge represents a significant milestone. It is also one of the most powerful in its class, with a power output of 408 hp and a tremendous peak torque of 660 Nm. The XC40 Recharge, like all other Volvo vehicles, has a top speed of 180 kmph.
BSES Discoms To Set Up 900 More EV Charging Stations In Delhi
BSES discoms BRPL & BYPL have enabled the installation of approximately 2300 electric vehicle charging stations in Delhi. They are also in the process of setting up 900 more over the next few months, company officials stated. According to officials, there are 2300 charging points at more than 900 locations in south, east, central, and west Delhi. These include 1,123 private, 745 public, and 419 for captive BSES usage. According to them, the company is currently in discussions with several partners to expand its charging infrastructure. Officials at BSES stated that they will facilitate the installation and maintenance of additional charging points of 900 or more over the next few months. They also added that BSES discoms plan to convert all their vehicles to EVs by 2030.
