The first battery-electric light-duty pickup truck produced by Ram Truck, the brand-new, all-electric 2025 Ram 1500 REV, made its global debut yesterday at the New York International Auto Show. In the years to come, the entire Ram lineup will offer electrified solutions that deliver cutting-edge, disruptive technology.
Mike Koval Jr., CEO of the Ram brand – Stellantis, stated, “The all-electric Ram 1500 REV is a monumental milestone on our continued journey to offer the industry’s best electrified solutions and further fortifies our award-winning lineup.” He added “We will continue to redefine the pickup truck market and are committed to providing our customers with the appropriate selection of powertrain options. Our all-new Smash 1500 Fire up pushes past the opposition in regions clients care about most including range, towing, payload and charge time.”
The 2025 Ram 1500 REV will offer two all-electric options: a standard 168 kilowatt-hour battery pack with a range of up to 350 miles and an optional 229 kilowatt-hour large battery pack with a range of up to an unrivalled 500 miles. Both can add up to 110 miles of range in about 10 minutes with 800-volt DC fast charging at up to 350 kW, providing customers with quick and convenient charging solutions.
The Ram 1500 REV has the flexibility to charge another Stellantis battery-electric vehicle or supply power back to the grid thanks to its bi-directional charging from vehicle to vehicle, vehicle to home, and vehicle to grid. With Ram’s central goal to make lives more straightforward, the truck can likewise send power to a home during a storm, run the back end party or give power at the camp or place of work. The bed’s on-board power panel can supply up to 7.2 kW, and the frunk’s available on-board power panel can supply up to 3.6 kW.
Additional targets include a 0-60 mph pace of 4.4 seconds, 654 horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque, up to 24 inches of water fording, up to 14,000 pounds towing, and a maximum cargo capacity of 2,700 pounds.
With a lineup that includes everything truck buyers want and need, Ram is committed to innovation and powertrain leadership, meeting real-world demands. The most fuel-efficient 4x4s and the fastest, quickest, and most powerful pickup trucks are both available from Ram right out of the factory.
There are five trim levels of the 2025 Ram 1500 REV: Tradesman, Big Horn/Lone Star, Laramie, Limited, and a brand-new trim called Tungsten.
The Ram 1500 REV is one of many significant contributions that Ram has made to Stellantis’ Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, which aims to set the standard for how the world moves by providing cutting-edge, eco-friendly, secure, and affordable mobility options. Stellantis is making an investment of more than €30 billion in electrification and software as part of Dare Forward 2030 to deliver battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) that meet customer demands by 2025.
The all-electric Ram 1500 REV will be followed by the brand-new, class-breaking Ram 1500 REV XR.
