Tata Power, India’s largest electric-vehicle charging infrastructure provider, has teamed up with the National Real Estate Development Council of Maharashtra (NAREDCO), Maharashtra in a major push towards Green Mobility.
The two will install up to 5,000 charging points on member properties. The MoU was signed today in Mumbai at The Real Estate Forum 2022, in the presence Shri Aaditya Thackeray (Hon’ble). Minister of Tourism & Environment (Govt. Maharashtra. This will boost EV adoption in the state.
Tata Power will offer a complete EV charging solution to all NAREDCO member developers. The service will include the installation, maintenance, or up-gradation of chargers as required. EV owners in NAREDCO member developer properties will be able to access Tata Power’s EZ Charge mobile app for 24×7 vehicle charging, monitoring and e-payments.
This collaboration is a significant step towards reducing carbon emissions, and accelerating the adoption of e-mobility across Maharashtra.

This will bring an efficient electric vehicle ecosystem closer towards the end-user, which will allow us to contribute to the national goal of a rapid transition toward green mobility,” stated Dr. Praveer Sinha CEO&MD, Tata Power.
Based on the location, these chargers will be available as Public/ Semipublic Charging Stations. This will make it easier for commuters to access the chargers and encourage them to use electric cars.
