After exhibiting the eKUV at the 2020 Auto Show, Mahindra & Mahindra may finally introduce it this year.
Since its inception in the electric vehicle market, Mahindra has made a concerted effort. This market has become quite popular, and numerous automakers, particularly Tata, have entered the fray, posing a serious threat to Mahindra. Mahindra is also prepared to offer new models in a few years, taking into account the new challenges and expectations in the electric car category.
The business displayed three concept EVs at the Auto Expo 2020, all of which are currently in production. The eKUV100 is one of these. The corporation may unveil an electric vehicle this year, according to reports.
Since the KUV100 electric vehicle was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020, speculation has been wild about when it will be released. Mahindra had set the initial launch price of the KUV100 at Rs 8.25 lakh when unveiling it at the 2020 Auto Expo (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The increase in input costs, however, may make this impossible to maintain. Despite this, Mahindra wants to cut the price by Rs 10 lakh, making it a viable challenger to the Tata Tigor EV, according to sources. On a single charge, the Mahindra KUV100 Electric is expected to travel approximately 250 kilometers.
The e-Verito compact electric sedan, on the other hand, is one of Mahindra’s electric vehicles that are making waves in the market. Government agencies and fleet operators can take advantage of this electric car.
The XUV300 SUV will be available in India in the third or fourth quarter of 2023, according to the manufacturer. In the next few days, the business plans to unveil its entire electric vehicle strategy.
