According to a statement made on Wednesday, Zypp Electric, a start-up for hyperlocal and EV-based last-mile delivery, has teamed with Flo Mobility to extend its reach in the autonomous electric vehicle industry, with the cooperation focusing on deliveries in the Delhi-NCR region.
FloMobility, a start-up that develops vision-based autonomous driving solutions for a variety of automobiles, and has been accepted as part of an EVolve Innovation Program with Enterprise Catalysts, an early-stage incubator.
As per the release, the program’s main purpose is to help EV start-ups that want to enhance last-mile logistics and the EV industry as a whole.
Zypp believes autonomy is the way of the future, thus, intends to provide autonomous navigation solutions for the mobility sector.
Backing this vision will provide logistics in India a competitive advantage, and this relationship will help take last-mile deliveries to the next level, said Zypp.
Zypp Electric will build up a delivery bot for Zypp deliveries for distribution throughout major campuses, as part of this agreement.
Any parcels left at the gate/entry will be picked up by the delivery bot and delivered to the door. Because of the technology developed by Flo Mobility, Zypp delivery bots will be able to navigate autonomously during delivery.
In accordance with the corporation, it will track Zypp Electric vehicles that are loaded with shipments and waiting for delivery workers at the warehouse gate/entry.

Flo Mobility’s vision for a wide range of sectors, with its USP being a pure camera-based retrofit stack that is inexpensive and accessible, with numerous applications, said Zypp.
It went on to say that the existing autonomous sector is valued USD 128 billion, and India is planning a substantial investment.
Zypp electric sees great potential in its ingenious autonomy-as-a-service platform, combined with a new business model, and will help them get to the next stage of growth with orders and money worth USD 1.5 million.
