Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, has announced the launch of the all-new Suzuki Burgman Street, a redesigned premium scooter aimed at enhancing everyday commuting with improved performance, comfort, and advanced features.

The latest model represents a full upgrade over its predecessor, combining a refreshed design with enhanced equipment to deliver a more refined and high-quality riding experience. Sales are set to begin in India in April 2026, with plans to export the scooter to over 100 countries and regions.

The new Burgman Street features a sleek, modern design characterized by sharp yet elegant lines. It is equipped with LED headlights integrated with position lights, improving both aesthetics and nighttime visibility. The addition of a color TFT display with smartphone connectivity further enhances rider convenience and usability.

Under the hood, the scooter is powered by a 124cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that has been optimized for better fuel efficiency and improved low-end torque. This ensures smoother acceleration and stronger performance in urban riding conditions.

Suzuki has also upgraded the chassis, reducing weight by approximately 500 grams while increasing torsional rigidity by 25%. These improvements contribute to better handling, stability, and overall ride quality, making the scooter more agile in city traffic.

In terms of practicality, the Burgman Street offers several user-friendly features, including an external fuel lid for easy refueling and expanded under-seat storage capable of accommodating a full-face helmet. Premium variants also come with a keyless ignition system, allowing riders to start the engine without removing the smart key.

Additional features such as a USB charging port and improved ergonomics make the scooter well-suited for daily commuting needs. With a seat height of 775 mm and a curb weight of 115 kg, the model aims to provide a comfortable and accessible riding experience for a wide range of users.

With this launch, Suzuki reinforces its position in the competitive scooter segment by blending luxury, practicality, and global appeal. The new Burgman Street is expected to attract urban riders seeking a premium yet efficient mobility solution.
