Statiq hosted its inaugural ‘Fleet Day’ at its Mahipalpur fast-charging hub, bringing together over 150 EV fleet drivers to recognize their contribution to India’s rapidly growing electric mobility ecosystem.
The event saw participation from last-mile delivery personnel, cab drivers, and logistics operators who rely heavily on public charging infrastructure for their daily operations. As some of the most frequent users of EV chargers, fleet drivers play a key role in demonstrating the practicality and scalability of electric mobility in real-world conditions.
India’s commercial EV fleet segment is witnessing strong growth and is projected to reach 10 million units by 2030, led by two- and three-wheelers in last-mile delivery and ride-hailing services. In this context, Statiq’s Fleet Day aimed to move beyond routine charging interactions and build a deeper connection with its core user base.
Speaking at the event, Akshit Bansal, Founder and CEO of Statiq, said the initiative was a tribute to drivers who have trusted the network and contributed to the EV transition. He emphasized that their daily usage proves EVs are viable at scale across Indian roads.
The Mahipalpur hub was transformed into a community space with on-ground activities and engagement initiatives, offering drivers a platform to interact, share feedback, and feel acknowledged for their role in the ecosystem.
Raghav Arora, Co-Founder and CTO, highlighted that fleet drivers serve as a “stress test” for any charging network due to their high-frequency usage and demand for reliability. Their feedback, he noted, helps the company improve charger placement, uptime, and digital payment systems.
Statiq’s charging network spans multiple Indian cities and is designed to cater to both individual and commercial users, with a focus on fast charging, high reliability, and seamless digital integration.
Karan Nandwani, AVP – Business Development, said Fleet Day reflects the company’s effort to recognize the people driving the EV ecosystem daily.
The initiative marks the beginning of a broader community engagement strategy. Statiq plans to expand similar events across its network while exploring driver loyalty programs and dedicated fleet support services to strengthen its role in India’s EV growth story.
