Maruti Suzuki India Limited reported its highest-ever monthly sales performance, selling 236,963 vehicles in January 2026, driven by strong domestic demand and record-breaking exports.
The company’s total sales for the month comprised 178,300 units sold in the domestic market, 7,643 units supplied to OEMs, and 51,020 units exported, with exports reaching an all-time monthly high, the company said in a statement.
Maruti Suzuki’s robust performance reflects sustained consumer demand across its product portfolio, supported by improved supply chains and continued focus on value-driven mobility solutions. The strong export numbers underline the company’s growing presence in international markets and its role as a key manufacturing hub for Suzuki Motor Corporation.
The automaker, which operates a wide range of models across entry-level, compact, utility and commercial segments, continues to strengthen its leadership position in the Indian passenger vehicle market. The company has been expanding its production capabilities and export footprint to cater to rising demand both in India and overseas.
Issued by the Corporate Communication department, Maruti Suzuki India Limited said the January performance marked a significant milestone in the company’s sales journey, reinforcing its commitment to customers through reliable products, wide service reach and competitive offerings.
