Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, today announced the appointment of Preeti Bajaj as Executive Vice President (EVP) of its Home Solutions Division.

In her new role, Bajaj will lead the global growth and innovation agenda for Schneider Electric’s Home Solutions business, overseeing the company’s portfolio of home energy management solutions, switches and sockets, and electric vehicle charging technologies. “I’m honored to lead Schneider Electric’s Home Solutions at such a pivotal time for the industry. As electrification, decentralization and digitalization are reshaping our homes, our mission is to empower homeowners with intelligent energy solutions that are smart, efficient and sustainable,” Bajaj said.

Bajaj brings extensive global leadership experience and a strong track record in strategic transformation. Most recently, she served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Luminous Power Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a Schneider Electric–owned company and a leading player in power backup and residential solar solutions in India.

Prior to this, she was the CEO of Clipsal Solar (now Clipsal Cortex, a Schneider Electric Ventures company), where she led global teams in developing advanced hardware and software solutions for renewable energy. She has also held the role of Vice President, Strategy and Commercial Operations Transformation at Schneider Electric.

Bajaj holds a master’s degree in applied finance from Macquarie University, an MBA in finance from Swinburne University of Technology, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of Delhi. She has completed executive education programmes at Harvard Business School and the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
