Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. announced the expansion of its SUV lineup with the launch of the XUV 3XO EV in Jaisalmer on January 6, 2026. The company has positioned the new electric SUV as an accessible and modern option for urban commuters, with a starting price of 13.89 lakh. This launch follows the strong market performance of the ICE version of the XUV 3XO, which has recorded nearly 1.8 lakh sales since its debut in April 2024. Mahindra aims to build on this success by offering an electric powertrain designed to meet daily mobility needs with a smooth and responsive driving experience.
The XUV 3XO EV will be available in two variants, the AX5 and the AX7L. The AX5 variant is priced at 13.89 lakh, while the AX7L, which offers additional premium features, comes at 14.96 lakh. Mahindra is also offering an optional 7.2 kW wall charger for faster home charging at an additional cost of 50,000. Deliveries for the new model are expected to begin on February 23, 2026, giving early customers a clear timeline for availability.
The vehicle is powered by a 39.4 kWh battery pack that delivers a real-world range of up to 285 km. It features an electric motor generating 110 kW of power and 310 Nm of torque, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds. With a 50 kW DC fast charger, the battery can reach 80 percent capacity in about 50 minutes, which supports quick top-ups for daily use.
The EV comes equipped with the Adrenox connected car system offering more than 80 features, including built-in Alexa. The AX7L variant adds Level 2 ADAS functions such as Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Auto Emergency Braking. Across the range, customers get features like dual-zone climate control, a panoramic skyroof on the higher trim, and a 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos. Safety features include six airbags, four-wheel disc brakes, a 360-degree surround-view system, and a blind view monitor. Mahindra says the XUV 3XO EV has been engineered to deliver ease of city driving with strong electric performance.
