Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. launched the all-new XUV 7XO, positioning it as a new benchmark in India’s premium SUV segment with a starting price of ₹13.66 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest SUV builds on the legacy of the XUV700, which has garnered over 3 lakh customers since its debut in 2021, and introduces multiple world-first and India-first technologies.

The XUV 7XO is headlined by the global debut of Mahindra’s DAVINCI suspension system, a valve-based damping technology designed to deliver a smoother and more settled ride. The model also becomes India’s first internal combustion engine (ICE) SUV to feature a coast-to-coast triple HD screen setup across all variants, reinforcing Mahindra’s focus on software-defined and experience-led vehicles.

In another segment-first, the XUV 7XO is India’s first ICE vehicle to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P chipset, enabling advanced ADAS Level 2 features with dynamic visualisation. The SUV also introduces India’s first integrated Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos experience in a vehicle, powered by a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.

Mahindra said bookings for the XUV 7XO will open on January 14, 2026, with deliveries for higher variants beginning the same day, while deliveries for select entry and mid variants will commence from April 2026.

The company has positioned the XUV 7XO as a value-driven offering, with advanced features available from the base AX variant. Standard features include triple HD screens, ADRENOX connected technology, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Alexa built-in with ChatGPT integration, cruise control and 75 safety features.

Available in multiple seven- and six-seater configurations, the SUV is offered with 2.0-litre mStallion TGDi petrol and 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engines, paired with manual and automatic transmission options. Mahindra has also introduced a first-in-segment all-wheel-drive option in the diesel variant.

Commenting on the launch, R Velusamy, President, Automotive Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said the XUV 7XO represents the company’s next step in delivering a premium, technology-forward SUV with enhanced ride comfort, computing power and immersive in-cabin experiences.

Pratap Bose, Chief Design and Creative Officer, said the SUV blends Mahindra’s authentic SUV DNA with sophisticated design elements, while Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, noted that the XUV 7XO is aimed at setting new standards in design, technology and performance amid rising consumer expectations in the SUV market.

With over 120 safety features, Level-2 ADAS, premium interiors and segment-leading technology, Mahindra said the XUV 7XO is designed to be a future-ready trendsetter and strengthen its leadership position in India’s fast-evolving SUV landscape.
