VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV), the joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, reported robust sales growth in November 2025, recording 7,652 units, up from 5,574 units in the same month last year. This marks an impressive 37.3% year-on-year increase, driven by strong demand across both domestic and export markets.
According to the company, the Eicher brand contributed 7,425 units, while Volvo-branded trucks and buses accounted for 227 units during the month.
Eicher Continues Strong Growth Trajectory
Eicher-branded trucks and buses posted 38.6% growth, rising to 7,425 units from 5,359 units in November 2024.
- Domestic sales stood at 6,720 units, compared to 4,957 units last year, reflecting a 35.6% increase as infrastructure activity and fleet replacement cycles strengthened market demand.
- Exports also surged, with 705 units shipped in November 2025 versus 402 units in November 2024 — a 75.4% jump, highlighting VECV’s growing global footprint.
Modest Growth for Volvo Trucks & Buses
Volvo-branded commercial vehicles recorded 227 units, registering a 5.6% rise from 215 units last year, supported by stable demand in the premium heavy-duty segment.
