Electric performance motorcycle maker Ultraviolette has accelerated its retail and service network expansion by opening six state-of-the-art Experience Centres across Mumbai and Pune within an unprecedented 48 hours. The new outlets—located in Andheri, Vashi, and Thane in Mumbai, and Shivajinagar, Baner, and Kharadi in Pune—mark a major milestone in the company’s rapid nationwide growth.
The expansion follows the recent debut of the X-47 Crossover, a multi-terrain electric motorcycle, and the company’s first radar-equipped carbon-fibre helmet, UV Crossfade. With these additions, Ultraviolette has strengthened its presence across 30 cities in India.
The new UV Space Stations, developed in partnership with Hallmark Mobility LLP (Mumbai) and KHV Mobility LLP (Pune), aim to offer an end-to-end EV ownership experience—from personalised test rides and sales support to dedicated service assistance, genuine spares, and accessory retail.
Speaking about the expansion, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder, Ultraviolette, said:
“Our mission has always been to build boundary-pushing products backed by a dependable ownership experience. By unifying sales and service under one roof across Maharashtra, we are building a connected ecosystem where technology, sustainability, and convenience come together.”
Kaushik Kothari, Partner at KHV Mobility, added that the dealership sees strong long-term potential in the EV two-wheeler segment, calling Ultraviolette’s engineering and design approach “a perfect fit” with their growth philosophy.
Electric Performance Reimagined
Ultraviolette’s motorcycle lineup—including the X-47, F77 SuperStreet, and F77 MACH 2—continues to push the envelope for electric performance in India. Key highlights include:
- Powertrain: 40.2 hp, 100 Nm torque
- Acceleration: 0–60 km/h in 2.8 seconds
- Battery: 10.3 kWh
- IDC Range: 323 km per charge
- Control: 3-level Traction Control System, 10-level Regenerative Braking
- Dynamic Stability Control (UV DSC): Integrates regen braking with ABS
The X-47 further introduces UV Radar Intelligence, enabling blind spot detection, lane change assist, overtake alerts, and rear collision warnings—making Ultraviolette the first Indian manufacturer to offer an advanced rider assistance system (ARAS) for two-wheelers.
Strong Market Response to New EVs
Earlier this year, Ultraviolette also received an enthusiastic response to its new mainstream EVs—the Tesseract electric scooter, touted as the world’s most advanced with integrated radar and dashcam, and Shockwave, an electric motorcycle designed for high-adrenaline riders.
With Maharashtra now becoming one of its strongest markets, Ultraviolette’s rapid expansion reflects India’s growing appetite for performance-oriented, technology-rich electric mobility solutions.
