Ultraviolette, the Bengaluru-based innovator in advanced electric mobility and battery technology, has officially entered the United Kingdom, launching retail sales of its F77 MACH 2 RECON and F77 SuperStreet RECON motorcycles. The expansion marks a major milestone in the company’s international roadmap and is being executed in partnership with MotoMondo BV, its exclusive distributor for the region.
The UK entry comes as Ultraviolette accelerates its global presence following launches across Europe earlier this year, supported by deep R&D capabilities and strong investor backing. At the Motorcycle Live Show, Ultraviolette showcased its entire next-generation EV portfolio — including the F77 MACH 2, F77 SuperStreet, X-47 Crossover, Tesseract scooter platform, Shockwave lightweight motorcycle, and the track-focused F99.
Speaking at the event, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder of Ultraviolette, said the UK launch reflects the brand’s commitment to redefining global performance motorcycling with intelligent, safety-driven electric platforms. “The United Kingdom, with its rich motorcycling heritage, is a pivotal market,” he said. “With progress on the UK-India Free Trade Agreement, we see greater opportunity to bring advanced mobility technology to British riders.”
F77 Series: Aerodynamic Performance With Intelligence at Its Core
The F77 delivers 30 kW peak power, 100 Nm torque, and a top speed of 155 km/h, powered by a 10.3 kWh battery offering up to 323 km IDC range. Equipped with Ultraviolette’s proprietary Violette A.I., the F77 features switchable Bosch Dual-Channel ABS, four levels of traction control, 10-level regenerative braking, and dynamic stability systems for enhanced safety and engagement.
X-47 Crossover: World’s First Radar-Equipped Motorcycle as Standard
Stealing the spotlight at Motorcycle Live, Ultraviolette unveiled the X-47 Crossover, the world’s first motorcycle to integrate radar technology as standard across all variants. Engineered for multi-terrain versatility, the X-47 debuts Ultraviolette’s UV HyperSense Advanced Rider Assistance System, offering:
- Blind Spot Detection
- Lane Change Assist
- Overtake Alerts
- Rear Collision Warnings with auto-activated hazard lights
Its radar system adapts to lean angles up to 20°, maintaining optimal detection accuracy during roll and pitch variations. The motorcycle also introduces the world’s most power-dense air-cooled onboard charger, engineered to function at extreme temperatures of 45–50°C.
Tesseract: World’s First Scooter With Integrated Radar and Dashcam
Ultraviolette also showcased Tesseract, the first global scooter platform equipped with both radar and dashcam systems, supported by Omnisense mirrors that deliver blind spot alerts, collision warnings, traction control, dynamic regeneration, and a 7-inch TFT cluster. With 14-inch wheels, advanced aerodynamics, and 34L under-seat storage, it is positioned as a next-generation safety-focused urban EV.
Shockwave: Lightweight ‘Fun Machine’ With 505 Nm Torque
The Shockwave motorcycle revives the spirited fun of 2-stroke-era riding with modern EV engineering — delivering 505 Nm at the rear wheel, 0–60 km/h in 2.9 seconds, and off-road friendly 19-inch/17-inch spoked wheels.
MotoMondo’s Take on the Partnership
Jan Ykema, Managing Director, MotoMondo, said Ultraviolette’s entry offers the UK an advanced, affordable mobility alternative amid tightening ICE regulations. “The F77 series brings aerodynamic precision and performance, perfectly aligned to the UK’s motorcycling culture,” he noted.
Ultraviolette’s UK debut signals the brand’s ambition to position itself at the forefront of global electric performance mobility, with strong emphasis on intelligent safety and futuristic design.
