Vietnamese EV manufacturer VinFast has set a new benchmark in the country’s automotive industry by delivering 20,380 electric vehicles in October 2025—its highest-ever monthly sales figure. With this achievement, the company has crossed a cumulative 124,264 vehicle deliveries in the first ten months of the year, further cementing its position as Vietnam’s top-selling automaker for the 14th consecutive month.
This milestone comes shortly after VinFast became the first automaker in Vietnam’s history to sell more than 100,000 vehicles within the first nine months of the year. The October numbers reaffirm the brand’s rapid growth and strong consumer acceptance in the domestic EV market.
The compact VF 3 continued to dominate as VinFast’s best-selling model, recording 4,619 units in October and a cumulative 36,005 units since January. The VF 5 followed closely with 4,450 units sold during the month, taking its year-to-date total to 35,406 units. Both models have emerged as preferred choices for cost-conscious urban commuters.
The VF 6 registered 2,524 deliveries in October, contributing to its impressive 10-month total of 16,949 units and strengthening its leadership position in the B-segment electric SUV category. The VF 7 also maintained robust momentum with 1,190 units sold, reaching 7,067 units for the year. Meanwhile, the VF 9 led the premium segment with 1,477 units delivered so far.
In the commercial EV segment, the 7-seater Limo Green continued its strong performance with 4,160 units delivered in October and 6,504 units sold within just three months. Herio Green also maintained traction with 2,920 units delivered in the month, bringing its total for the year to 11,524 units after recently winning the “Commercial Fleet Vehicle of the Year” award at the Car Choice Awards 2025.
Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy CEO of Global Sales and Marketing at VinFast, said the record-breaking results demonstrate rising consumer trust in EVs. “More than 20,000 vehicles sold in October and over 124,000 units in 10 months are unprecedented figures in the Vietnamese automotive market. These results reaffirm customer confidence in VinFast’s product quality and our commitment to greener mobility,” she said.
To further encourage EV adoption, VinFast is offering incentives throughout November 2025, including support of up to 100 million VND for customers transitioning from gasoline vehicles, higher support of up to 150 million VND for customers in storm-affected provinces, gifts worth up to 50 million VND, and free charging at V-Green stations until June 2027.
In the remaining months of the year, VinFast is preparing to roll out two new models—the EC Van, a compact commercial van, and the Minio Green, an urban micro-EV—expanding options for both personal and commercial users.
