Hyundai Motor Company has unveiled the IONIQ 6 N, a groundbreaking addition to its high-performance N lineup, engineered to deliver exhilarating precision, speed, and everyday usability. Following its celebrated debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the IONIQ 6 N is now being tested by international media at the Korea International Circuit in Yeongam, ahead of its global launch in early 2026.
Designed under Hyundai N’s three-pillar philosophy — Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability, and Everyday Sportscar — the IONIQ 6 N combines electric innovation with motorsport-inspired engineering, redefining what performance EVs can achieve.
Powered by 650 PS (478 kW) and 770 Nm of torque, the IONIQ 6 N accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, reaching a top speed of 257 km/h. The model features Hyundai’s advanced N Battery System for optimal thermal management, enabling consistent performance under demanding driving conditions. The battery supports 400V–800V multi-charging architecture, achieving 10–80% charge in just 18 minutes with ultra-fast charging.
On the track, the IONIQ 6 N’s reengineered suspension geometry, stroke-sensing ECS dampers, and electronic limited-slip differential ensure razor-sharp handling. Aerodynamic enhancements such as a swan-neck rear wing and widened fenders boost downforce while maintaining an impressive drag coefficient of 0.27Cd.
For drivers seeking an immersive experience, the EV introduces N e-Shift and N Active Sound+, simulating gear changes and delivering dynamic soundscapes — from motorsport-inspired tones to futuristic electric harmonics. The N Track Manager enables custom track design, lap analysis, and ghost-car visuals for competitive precision, while N Drift Optimizer allows fine-tuning of drift behavior.
Despite its race-ready performance, the IONIQ 6 N also doubles as an everyday electric sportscar, equipped with Hyundai SmartSense ADAS features such as Highway Driving Assist 2 and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2. The interior features bucket seats in Alcantara and leather, Performance Blue accents, and a Pasubio steering wheel with dedicated N mode buttons, ensuring a driver-focused cockpit.
