In a major leap toward India’s sustainable transportation goals, Kazam, one of India’s leading EV charging infrastructure and energy-tech companies, has achieved a landmark milestone by installing over 1 lakh electric vehicle chargers across the country.

With a presence spanning 3,900 pin codes, Kazam now operates one of India’s largest and most accessible EV charging networks. The company’s rapid expansion is helping bridge the infrastructure gap as India races toward its national target of 30% EV adoption by 2030.

A significant share of Kazam’s charger installations stems from collaborations with major automakers, including Mahindra and Bajaj. By partnering with OEMs while simultaneously developing its independent charging network, Kazam is ensuring smoother EV adoption and promoting interoperability across multiple vehicle platforms.

Kazam’s charging ecosystem spans residential, commercial, and fleet segments, making it a hardware-agnostic network that offers flexibility and reliability to users. The company has already powered over 45 GWh of clean energy through its platform and is actively exploring battery energy storage integration and peer-to-peer energy trading pilots.

Crossing 1 lakh installations is a milestone for us! At Kazam, we are building the backbone of India’s clean mobility future,” said Akshay Shekhar, CEO of Kazam. “Our partnerships with Mahindra and Bajaj and our presence across nearly 4,000 pin codes underline our vision to make EV charging as universal and reliable as the electricity grid itself.

This milestone solidifies Kazam’s position among global leaders in EV infrastructure, as it continues to accelerate India’s journey toward net-zero emissions and a future-ready energy ecosystem.
