Exelmoto, an emerging electric mobility brand, has announced the launch of its Business-to-Business (B2B) division in partnership with Delhivery India, alongside the debut of its latest innovation, Scoot—a universally accessible electric cycle with a scooter form factor. Designed with intuitive pedal assist, a comfortable bench seat, and license-free usability, Scoot aims to redefine micro-mobility for diverse user segments across India.
The new product targets women riders, elderly users, and active lifestyle enthusiasts, promoting independence, affordability, and convenience. Exelmoto positions Scoot as India’s most economical micro-mobility solution, catering to both personal and commercial needs.
Following a strong consumer response to its June pre-order campaign for personal mobility bikes, Exelmoto has completed its first batch of pre-orders, marking a major milestone for the brand. The company clarified that these pre-orders are limited to personal-use models and do not include commercial units.
As part of its B2B initiative, Exelmoto has developed a custom electric bike tailored specifically for Delhivery’s logistics operations. The partnership has now entered a phase-wise delivery schedule, with the first batch of 200 logistics bikes in the process of deployment following successful pilot feedback.
Akshai Varde, Founder and CEO of Exelmoto, said, “Delhivery validated what we built—reliability under real-world logistics conditions. We’re targeting logistics and quick commerce segments, exploring multiple commercial models as we scale. For our personal mobility division, we’ve achieved strong unit economics from month one, laying a solid foundation for growth.”
Exelmoto’s vision is backed by a trio of high-profile investors — actor-entrepreneur Suniel Shetty, cricketer KL Rahul, and actor Ahan Shetty — who have joined as co-investors in the venture.
Suniel Shetty remarked, “Clean mobility is for everyone. This scooter’s design ensures accessibility across generations. When my generation confidently adopts electric mobility, the revolution is truly underway. We anticipate profitability within 12–18 months.”
KL Rahul added, “Our collaboration with Delhivery establishes a clear commercial pathway. This is about building infrastructure for India’s last-mile commerce, not just personal mobility.”
Ahan Shetty highlighted the brand’s evolution, saying, “Exelmoto started with style; now it’s about substance, scalability, and sustainable impact. We’re committed both financially and emotionally to its growth.”
