In a bold step toward redefining electric mobility, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. unveiled the Super-ONE Prototype, a next-generation compact electric vehicle (EV), at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. The world premiere showcased Honda’s vision of combining electrification with emotional driving pleasure — a hallmark of the company’s DNA.
Developed under the grand concept “e: Dash BOOSTER,” the Super-ONE Prototype is designed to transform everyday commutes into thrilling experiences. The compact EV offers an agile, sporty performance through its lightweight platform (inspired by Honda’s N Series) and a wide stance with flared blister fenders that enhance stability and control.
One of the standout features is “Boost Mode,” a unique drive setting that heightens the EV’s responsiveness. It synchronizes a simulated 7-speed transmission and Active Sound Control system to deliver realistic gear shifts and engine-like acoustics — creating the sensation of driving a traditional performance car.
Honda conducted extensive testing across Japan, the U.K., and Asia, ensuring robust performance across varying terrains and climates. The model’s predecessor, the Super EV Concept, made its dynamic debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025, showcasing the company’s commitment to delivering “the fun of driving” in the electric era.
Inside, the Super-ONE features a driver-focused cabin with sporty seats, a minimalist dashboard, and an asymmetric blue-accented design that exudes modern flair. Every element has been crafted to stimulate the driver’s senses — visually, aurally, and physically — embodying Honda’s “Power of Dreams” philosophy.
Honda plans to launch the production model in Japan in 2026, followed by rollouts in the U.K. and Asia, under different regional names — Super-ONE in Asia, Honda Super-ONE in select markets, and Super-N in the U.K.
With the Super-ONE Prototype, Honda reinforces its vision of electrified mobility that excites, blending cutting-edge EV technology with the emotional connection that has long defined the brand’s legacy.
