In a first-of-its-kind national initiative, VinFast, the Vietnam-based global electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has launched a nationwide design and voting competition titled “PiliPinas – Your Vote, Your Design for the Future Filipino Drive”, inviting citizens across the Philippines to help design the country’s first “National VinFast Electric Vehicle.”
The program aims to democratize vehicle design by giving the Filipino public a direct voice in shaping a new generation of smart, sustainable EVs that reflect the nation’s unique cultural identity. This initiative marks a major step in VinFast’s mission to foster community-driven innovation and promote clean mobility solutions across Southeast Asia.
Under the campaign, VinFast will unveil 50 all-new EV design concepts across five models — VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9 — each showcasing the brand’s futuristic approach to zero-emission mobility. Participants can vote for their favorite designs and even submit their own original EV concepts, offering citizens the chance to influence the vehicles that could soon drive Philippine roads.
To ensure inclusivity, voting is open both online and offline, through VinFast’s official website and nationwide collection points — from showrooms to cafés and public centers. The contest also features prizes worth over ₱5.1 million, including cash rewards for top predictors and creative contributors.

The competition runs from October 24 to November 7, with results announced on November 15, 2025. It brings together prominent figures from the Philippines’ automotive, design, and art sectors as judges, ensuring a vibrant mix of creativity and innovation.
Through this initiative, VinFast continues to accelerate its “For a Green Future” strategy in Southeast Asia — promoting electric mobility, expanding charging networks, and building a connected EV ecosystem. The PiliPinas program cements the automaker’s position as a pioneer in community-driven EV design and sustainable transport innovation in the region.
