Hyundai Motor Company has achieved a record-breaking brand valuation of $24.6 billion, securing the 30th spot in the 2025 Interbrand Best Global Brands rankings. The milestone reflects 16 consecutive years of brand growth and underscores Hyundai’s rising global influence, driven by its expanding electric vehicle (EV) lineup and cutting-edge mobility innovations.

The automaker’s consistent success stems from its record revenue in 2024, 100 million cumulative vehicle production, and the landmark IPO of Hyundai Motor India Ltd., the largest-ever in Indian stock exchange history. These achievements, coupled with Hyundai’s advancements in electrification, safety, and software-defined mobility, continue to strengthen its global position.

Hyundai’s EV dominance has been pivotal to its brand ascent. The INSTER was named the 2025 World Electric Vehicle by the World Car Awards, marking the company’s fourth consecutive year of recognition in the global EV segment. Hyundai also expanded its zero-emission portfolio with the launch of the IONIQ 9 and the next-generation NEXO fuel cell electric vehicle, addressing diverse mobility needs and reinforcing its commitment to sustainability.

Safety remains a hallmark of Hyundai’s brand image — seven Hyundai models earned the 2025 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating in the U.S., highlighting the company’s dedication to engineering excellence.

To secure its future in the software-driven mobility era, Hyundai unveiled HMGMA, its first AI-powered software-defined factory, and launched Pleos, a proprietary mobility software platform that will underpin the company’s next generation of connected and autonomous EVs.

Creative brand storytelling has also played a key role in Hyundai’s growth. The automaker earned multiple accolades at the 2025 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, including a Grand Prix for its campaigns “Night Fishing” and “Tree Correspondents.”

“From our award-winning EVs to our manufacturing innovations, we’re building a brand that customers trust and value,” said José Muñoz, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company. “As we continue our commitment to ‘Progress for Humanity,’ it’s a great time to be with Hyundai.”

Hyundai’s 2025 performance highlights its successful transition from a traditional automaker to a global EV and mobility leader, showcasing how sustainability, innovation, and creativity can drive enduring brand strength in a rapidly transforming industry.
