In a significant stride toward decarbonizing India’s freight movement, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles today commenced deliveries of its advanced Prima E.55S battery-electric prime movers to Enviiiro Wheels Mobility, a leading provider of sustainable logistics solutions for the power, mining, cement, and steel sectors. The first batch of heavy-duty, zero-emission trucks was officially handed over in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan.
The Prima E.55S, designed for long-haul and heavy-duty applications, will be deployed for mineral and ore transportation, marking a major leap in electrifying industrial logistics.

Built on Tata’s next-generation EV architecture, the Prima E.55S features a full-electric drivetrain with an integrated e-axle, state-of-the-art regenerative braking, and an impressive range of up to 350 km on a single charge. It also supports dual gun fast charging, ensuring minimal downtime for fleet operators.
The truck comes equipped with advanced driver-assistance and safety technologies including a Driver Monitoring System, Lane Departure Warning, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Cruise Control, and Electronic Braking System, with optional ADAS features. The premium Prima cabin, featuring a pneumatically suspended seat and tilt-telescopic steering, enhances driver comfort and productivity during long hauls.
Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles continues to be a pioneer in alternative fuel mobility, offering solutions across battery-electric, CNG, LNG, hydrogen internal combustion, and hydrogen fuel cell technologies.
