TVS Motor Company has reported its highest-ever quarterly sales in the second quarter of FY2025-26, clocking 15.07 lakh units, marking a robust performance across two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and exports.
Two-wheeler sales rose 22%, increasing from 11.90 lakh units in Q2FY25 to 14.54 lakh units in Q2FY26. Three-wheeler sales surged 41%, growing from 0.38 lakh units to 0.53 lakh units during the same period. The company’s exports also saw a sharp jump of 30%, reaching 4.00 lakh units in Q2FY26 compared to 3.09 lakh units a year earlier.
In its monthly update, TVS reported sales of 541,064 units in September 2025, reflecting a 12% year-on-year growth against 482,495 units in September 2024.
Segment-wise performance:
- Two-Wheelers: Sales rose 11%, from 471,792 units in September 2024 to 523,923 units in September 2025. Domestic two-wheeler sales grew 12%, reaching 413,279 units.
- Motorcycles: Sales were up 9%, at 249,621 units compared to 229,268 units last year.
- Scooters: Registered a stronger growth of 17%, climbing from 186,751 units to 218,928 units.
- Electric Vehicles (EVs): Posted an 8% growth, with sales increasing from 28,901 units to 31,266 units, though the company cautioned that magnet availability continues to pose challenges in the short to medium term.
- International Business: Exports increased 10%, reaching 122,108 units in September 2025. Two-wheeler exports rose 8%, while three-wheeler exports surged 60% to 17,141 units.
TVS Motor’s strong sales performance underscores its expanding market presence in both domestic and international markets, with scooters and three-wheelers leading the growth momentum.
