India’s leading electric mobility brand, EMotorad, has launched Dope, an innovative suspension-equipped e-cycle designed exclusively for young riders. The new model promises to combine safety, comfort, and exploration, redefining how children experience outdoor mobility.

The Dope e-cycle features an 80mm travel suspension fork for smooth rides across both urban streets and uneven terrains. Safety is enhanced with auto cut-off e-brakes, which automatically stop the bike in emergencies, ensuring riders remain in control.

Powered by a 36V 250W rear hub motor and a 36V 5.2Ah Li-ion removable battery, the e-cycle offers three levels of pedal assist and a maximum speed of 17 km/h. Riders can enjoy a range of up to 22 km on pedal assist and 20 km on throttle, with a quick 2–3 hour charging time.

Comfort and durability are at the core of the design. A high-tensile steel frame, 24-inch nylon tyres, single-speed drivetrain, and double wall alloy rims ensure stability without unnecessary complexity. The cycle is suitable for riders between 4.2 ft and 4.9 ft in height and supports a maximum weight of 80 kg.

Speaking at the launch, Kunal Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO of EMotorad, said: We recognize that creating a product for young riders requires a different level of attention. Dope was designed with this in mind, ensuring that it offers the same high standards of safety, comfort, and reliability as all our products, with the added care needed for young adventurers.

The e-cycle comes with a five-year warranty on the frame, two years on the battery, and varying coverage on other components.

Priced at ₹19,999, the Dope e-cycle emphasizes affordability without compromising safety or quality, making it an attractive option for families. It will be available across EMotorad’s nationwide dealer network, as well as online platforms including Amazon and Flipkart, where customers can also purchase an exclusive Sea Green limited-edition variant.
