Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle maker, has announced a major boost to the country’s EV ecosystem, confirming the availability of 25,000 public charging stations for electric small commercial vehicles (SCVs) across more than 150 cities.
To further expand this network, the company has signed MoUs with 13 leading Charging Point Operators — including Charge Zone, Zeon Electric, Kazam, Volttic, and Ampvolts — to add another 25,000 chargers within the next 12 months. All charging locations will be integrated into Fleet Edge, Tata’s connected vehicle platform, enabling real-time navigation and charger availability for customers.
“With over 10,000 Ace EVs deployed, covering 6 crore km, and growing adoption of the new Ace Pro EV, customer confidence in electric cargo mobility is at an all-time high,” said Pinaki Haldar, Vice President & Business Head – SCVPU, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles. “Expanding charging infrastructure through strategic partnerships ensures our customers enjoy range confidence, profitability, and zero-emission logistics.”
Tata Motors’ e-SCV lineup — Ace Pro EV, Ace EV, and Ace EV 1000 — is designed for diverse urban and semi-urban cargo needs, supported by 200+ dedicated EV service centres nationwide.
