General Motors has redefined American SUV luxury with the launch of the all-electric 2025 Cadillac ESCALADE IQ, blending bold design, cutting-edge technology, and electrified performance. The model was recently showcased in a first-drive review by GM News senior editor Bob Sorokanich, highlighting its commanding presence and innovative features.
The ESCALADE IQ greets drivers with available power-operated doors and a 55-inch curved pillar-to-pillar LED display inside the cabin. Premium touches include heated, cooled, and massaging front seats, while Executive Second Row Seating transforms the SUV into a business-jet-like environment with reclining seats, tray tables, personal screens, and a rear command-center for comfort and entertainment control.
Under the hood, performance matches luxury. With 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque available through Velocity Max mode, the ESCALADE IQ accelerates from 0–60 mph in under five seconds. Standard four-wheel steering, Magnetic Ride Control 4.0, and Adaptive Air Ride Suspension ensure agility in tight spaces and stability on highways. On a full charge, the SUV delivers a Cadillac-estimated 460 miles of driving range, placing it among the longest-range EVs in its segment.
Advanced driver assistance comes via Super Cruise hands-free technology, available on compatible roads, offering a glimpse into Cadillac’s vision of autonomous-ready luxury. Sorokanich described the driving experience as “jaw-dropping sporty performance and plush, near-silent EV driving with signature Cadillac elegance.”
With its blend of opulence, electrification, and advanced engineering, the Cadillac ESCALADE IQ positions itself as a flagship in the era of luxury electric SUVs, reinforcing GM’s ambition to lead in premium EV mobility.
