Hyundai Motor Company has globally debuted Concept THREE, its first compact electric vehicle under the IONIQ sub-brand, at the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich. The launch underscores Hyundai’s push into Europe’s fast-growing compact EV segment, strengthening its position in the global electrification race.
Concept THREE embodies Hyundai’s new “Art of Steel” design language, combining sculptural beauty with material innovation. With compact dimensions (4,287 mm long, 1,940 mm wide, and 1,428 mm high), the vehicle is tailored for Europe’s urban mobility needs while retaining aerodynamic efficiency through its Aero Hatch profile and Parametric Pixel lighting.
The interior highlights Hyundai’s focus on emotional connection and sustainability. It features customizable BYOL (Bring Your Own Lifestyle) widgets, a symbolic design character “Mr. Pix,” and eco-friendly materials such as ocean waste textiles and aluminum foam. The cabin’s lemon-tinted glass, soft yellow-gray palette, and modular layout create a serene and personalized space for drivers and passengers.
“Concept THREE represents the next step in Hyundai Motor’s electrification journey, delivering mobility that is practical, accessible, and emotionally resonant,” said Xavier Martinet, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Europe.
