Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has expanded its popular Knight Edition portfolio with the launch of the CRETA Electric Knight, i20 Knight, and ALCAZAR Knight, ahead of the festive season. The move builds on the success of existing Knight models – CRETA, VENUE, and EXTER – which have collectively sold over 77,000 units since 2022.

The Knight range is distinguished by its all-black theme with bold exterior elements, brass-colored inserts in the cabin, and exclusive Knight badging, offering customers a stylish and premium road presence.

Key highlights of the new Knight editions include:

  • Black alloy wheels, red brake calipers, and matte black Hyundai logos
  • All-black interiors with brass inserts and sporty metal pedals
  • Exclusive Knight emblems and black-themed design upgrades

The CRETA Electric Knight is available in Excellence trims with 42 kWh (420 km range) and 51.4 kWh (510 km range) battery packs.
The i20 Knight comes with a 1.2L Kappa petrol engine in Sportz (O) MT and Asta (O) IVT variants, while the ALCAZAR Knight offers 1.5L turbo petrol (DCT) and 1.5L diesel (AT) in 7-seater configurations.

Additionally, Hyundai has rolled out feature upgrades for the i20, i20 N Line, and ALCAZAR, including dashcams, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and a sporty rear spoiler in select variants.

Pricing (ex-showroom, India):

  • i20 Knight starts at ₹9.14 lakh
  • ALCAZAR Knight starts at ₹21.65 lakh
  • CRETA Electric Knight starts at ₹21.44 lakh

Commenting on the launch, Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director & COO, HMIL, said: “The allure of black in the Knight line-up embodies the bold spirit of young Indian buyers while asserting a commanding road presence. These launches reaffirm our commitment to delighting customers during the festive season.”

With six models now under its Knight line-up, Hyundai aims to further strengthen its style-driven portfolio and capture festive demand.
