Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported sales of 34,236 units in August 2025, reflecting an 11% year-on-year growth compared to 30,879 units sold in August 2024. The total includes 29,302 units sold domestically and 4,934 units exported.
From January to August 2025, TKM achieved 2,41,696 units in cumulative sales, marking a robust 14% rise over 2,12,785 units sold during the same period in 2024.
Corporate and Product Highlights
In August, TKM strengthened its Make in India commitment by renewing its Wharfage Rate Agreement with Kamarajar Port Limited to boost exports.
On the product front, several key milestones were achieved:
- Toyota Innova completed 20 years in India, crossing 12 lakh customers.
- Urban Cruiser Taisor received a new Bluish Black exterior along with the standardisation of six airbags across all variants.
- The Camry Hybrid Electric Vehicle – Sprint Edition was launched, adding a sportier and more dynamic variant to Toyota’s luxury hybrid sedan portfolio.
