Ford Motor Company has officially launched Ford Charge, a new dealer-backed charging network that strengthens its nationwide EV infrastructure footprint. The network includes nearly 1,200 Ford-branded DC fast chargers across more than 320 dealerships in the U.S. and Canada, all open to the public and compatible with most electric vehicles.
In total, over 800 Ford dealerships now provide public access to more than 3,000 DC fast chargers, giving EV drivers greater convenience when road-tripping to popular destinations. While dealerships can select their charging provider, many have chosen Ford to manage operations, ensuring reliability under the new Ford Charge banner.
These chargers also integrate with the BlueOval Charge Network, North America’s largest public charging ecosystem. With access to more than 100,000 charging points—including Tesla Superchargers and Electrify America sites—Ford EV drivers are never far from a station, with chargers available within 18 miles of most major U.S. highways.
“Ford Charge makes it easier for EV owners—no matter the brand—to travel with confidence,” said Amanda Grappone Osmer, Dealer Principal of John Grappone Ford in Bow, New Hampshire.
The move underscores Ford’s continued commitment to building consumer confidence in electric mobility, while leveraging its dealership network to expand charging infrastructure quickly and reliably.
