Can-Am, the off-road brand under BRP Inc., has announced a groundbreaking lineup of all-terrain and side-by-side vehicles for 2026, featuring multiple industry firsts, including the Can-Am Outlander Electric and the world’s first ATV with semi-active suspension.
“Innovation is at the core of Can-Am’s DNA,” said Julie Tourville, Director of Global Marketing, Can-Am Off-Road at BRP. “The 2026 lineup introduces numerous advancements that elevate the rider experience, from the first full-size production electric ATV to new evolutions of the Maverick R and Maverick X3 platforms.”
Silent Power: Outlander Electric
The highlight of the release is the Outlander Electric, delivering 47 horsepower, 53 lb-ft of torque, and up to 50 miles of range. With whisper-quiet operation, rapid charging, and towing capacity of 1,830 lbs, it promises farmers, ranchers, and outdoor enthusiasts a powerful yet eco-friendly ride.
Heavy-Duty Utility: Outlander MAX 6×6
Built for extreme conditions, the Outlander MAX 6×6 brings six-wheel traction, a 999cc V-Twin Rotax engine with 101 horsepower, and SHOWA suspension, offering unparalleled utility and control across rough terrain.
Industry-First Semi-Active Suspension
For 2026, Can-Am introduces Smart-Shox semi-active suspension on the Outlander XT-P and MAX Limited, which automatically adjusts to terrain in real time. Riders can select modes like Comfort, Sport, and Work, ensuring optimal performance without manual adjustments.
Rock-Crawling Beast: Maverick R X rc
Expanding its performance lineup, Can-Am launched the Maverick R X rc, purpose-built for rock-crawling and inspired by its King of the Hammers race success. Outfitted with 35-inch tires, ROCK mode, and heavy-duty protective features, it’s designed for extreme rocky terrains.
Refined Maverick X3 Platform
The enduring Maverick X3 also sees upgrades, including modern LED lighting, a 10.25-inch touchscreen with built-in GPS, and an all-new X Turbo package featuring enhanced utility and trail-ready performance.
With these launches, Can-Am strengthens its legacy as a leader in powersports, combining performance, utility, and sustainability.
