Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has announced that its flagship micromobility vehicle, the Fastport eQuad, has won the “Red Dot: Best of the Best 2025” award in the Design Concept category of the world-renowned Red Dot Design Award.

The Fastport eQuad, an all-electric single-rider vehicle designed for last-mile delivery, combines pedal-by-wire technology with an electric-assist powertrain, ensuring a smooth, quiet, and zero-emission ride. With transparent panels, a clear windshield, and a translucent cargo container, the design emphasizes visibility, safety, and seamless integration with busy urban landscapes. Mass production is set to begin in the U.S. by summer 2026.

In addition to this top honor, Honda also secured Red Dot awards for its EV Fun Concept and EV Urban Concept electric motorcycle models, as well as for the “New V3 Engine Concept Teaser” – a short film showcasing the development of the world’s first V3 motorcycle engine with an electrical compressor.

The EV Fun Concept, Honda’s first electric sports motorcycle, promises a vibration-free, slim, and dynamic riding experience, with a production version slated for launch before March 2026. Meanwhile, the EV Urban Concept reimagines city mobility with minimalist styling, an advanced human-machine interface, and seamless integration of hardware and software.

Commenting on the wins, Toshinobu Minami, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Honda R&D’s Design Center, said:
“We are deeply honored to receive recognition in both the Design Concept and Brand & Communication competitions. This reflects Honda Design’s ongoing commitment to creating new value while keeping pace with evolving lifestyles and mobility needs worldwide.”

Founded in 1955, the Red Dot Design Award is among the world’s most prestigious design recognitions. Honda’s latest success continues its legacy of innovation, reinforcing its global brand philosophy: The Power of Dreams. How we move you.
