Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast has signed strategic dealership agreements with 20 new partners at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025, marking a pivotal milestone in its aggressive push into the Indonesian market.

The newly inked partnerships will contribute to 38 additional VinFast showrooms, set to launch progressively until the end of 2026. Alongside expansion from existing partners, VinFast is poised to operate 85 showrooms across 34 dealerships nationwide by next year.

The 20 Indonesian partners—renowned for their strong reputations and market reach—include PT Auto Green AAS, PT Ivan Dijaja Mandiri, PT Bimmeroom Mobil Indonesia, PT Alto Anugerah Abadi, PT Prestisius Indonesia, and PT Mega Central Autoniaga, among others. These partners were carefully selected for their strategic locations and proven expertise in automotive retail.

“This partnership with highly capable Indonesian enterprises is a major step in establishing a comprehensive and high-standard EV ecosystem across 19 provinces and 41 cities,” said Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto, CEO of VinFast Indonesia. “We’re committed to providing seamless customer experiences with professional consulting and world-class after-sales service.”

To empower its expanding dealer network, VinFast has promised full-scale support—including continuous training programs to ensure global-standard knowledge of product features, technology, and maintenance protocols.

Ivan Farrel Djayaprawira, Director of PT Ivan Djaja Mandiri, expressed optimism: “We are proud to align with VinFast’s mission for green mobility. With our infrastructure and market insights, we aim to deliver premium EV experiences and unlock new growth potential in the sector.”

VinFast’s product portfolio in Indonesia already includes a strong lineup: VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF e34, and the recently launched VF 7, targeting various consumer segments. The company is also luring customers with attractive offerings like free charging at V-GREEN stations and 0% interest financing, while enhancing collaboration with service centers and financial institutions.

The rapid dealership expansion underlines VinFast’s broader ambition: to become a leading EV brand in Southeast Asia and a key player in Indonesia’s EV transition roadmap.
