VinFast Auto India, the Indian arm of global EV pioneer VinFast, has officially opened bookings for its premium electric SUVs — the VF 6 and VF 7 — ahead of their public launch next month. This announcement follows the brand’s strong debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year.
Indian consumers can now reserve their VinFast SUV at showrooms or via the official website VinFastAuto.in, with a fully refundable booking amount of ₹21,000. Deliveries are scheduled to commence post the inauguration of VinFast’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.

The VF 6 and VF 7 are designed to meet the demands of Indian roads while delivering global standards of performance, comfort, and safety. The locally assembled vehicles are engineered for daily commutes, intercity travel, and extended getaways — offering robust range and modern connectivity.

Nationwide Dealership and Charging Ecosystem in Place
VinFast has signed agreements with 13 dealer partners to launch 32 showrooms across 27 cities, covering metro hubs like Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai, as well as emerging EV markets such as Bhubaneswar, Surat, and Trivandrum. This network will operate on the 3S model — Sales, Service, and Spares — ensuring comprehensive customer support.
To back its EV rollout, VinFast has partnered with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure to build a robust charging and after-sales infrastructure. These collaborations will offer real-time charging access, AI-powered diagnostics, and integrated support platforms for hassle-free EV ownership.
Driving Circular Sustainability
Reinforcing its long-term sustainability goals, VinFast has joined hands with India’s BatX Energies to establish a circular battery value chain. This includes battery recycling, rare metal recovery, and end-of-life repurposing, strengthening VinFast’s position as a responsible EV leader.
Thoothukudi Plant to Fuel Growth
The upcoming ₹500 crore facility in Thoothukudi will have a production capacity of 150,000 vehicles annually and create 3,500 direct jobs. Once operational, it will play a pivotal role in meeting both domestic demand and export goals.
