Hyundai Motor Company is giving travelers a head start on experiencing its flagship all-electric SUV, the IONIQ 9, through a unique and immersive activation at major European airports — starting with Munich Airport’s MAC Forum.
Before the IONIQ 9 hits the roads, passengers and visitors can step into a life-sized, luxurious lounge experience designed to reflect the vehicle’s spacious, tech-rich interior. The activation, dubbed the IONIQ 9 Hero Booth, replicates the car’s comfort and innovation, offering a rare pre-launch glimpse at Hyundai’s most premium electric SUV yet.

Booth Highlights: Where Airport Meets Living Room
Visitors can explore two distinct interior setups:
- “Meeting Room” Mode: Swiveling seats in a face-to-face arrangement, perfect for social connection.
- “Relaxation” Mode: Reclined seats with ambient lighting and nature-inspired audio via a 14-speaker Bose system, mirroring the in-car experience.
Additional booth features include:
- Wireless E-GMP charging stations
- Calming acoustics inspired by the IONIQ 9’s in-cabin environment
- Complimentary branded passport covers customized on-site via hot stamping
