EVerged, a North American energy technology firm, has entered a strategic partnership with AMPECO, a leading EV charging management platform provider, to deploy over 5,000 EV charging points within two years across public and private networks. The collaboration began with EVerged managing San Diego’s public charging network, where AMPECO’s platform unified operations across municipal EV infrastructure. Under an agreement approved by the San Diego City Council, the city will add approximately 4,000 charge points—2,500 public and 1,500 municipal—over five years. This project laid the groundwork for EVerged’s national expansion across major U.S. metropolitan areas.
AMPECO’s platform gives us instant visibility when chargers go down and resolves most issues remotely, dramatically improving our operational efficiency,” said Peter Ruzich, COO at EVerged. “We can now provide the reliable charging experience drivers expect while scaling at the pace the market demands.”
The partnership tackles a major challenge in EV infrastructure: charging reliability. Leveraging AMPECO’s platform, EVerged can remotely monitor chargers in real time, resolve up to 80% of issues without on-site support, and proactively engage customers with instant alerts and analytics. Beyond uptime, the platform empowers EVerged to use stations as promotional tools, offering initiatives like free charging to boost usage and brand engagement. With advanced partner management features, including customizable dashboards and reporting, EVerged is positioned to rapidly scale while delivering high-performance charging solutions across both AC and DC networks.
