South Korea–based EV charging innovator viveEV, a division of the global Wonik Group, is set to debut a cutting-edge EV charging hub at North Crest Village in Carrollton, Texas, further advancing its North American expansion strategy.

The upcoming site will feature eight units of viveEV’s 600kW TRON DC fast chargers, marking a significant milestone in the company’s coast-to-coast rollout across the United States. Backed by the $3.5 billion Wonik enterprise and its manufacturing arm WONIK PNE, viveEV leverages two decades of industry expertise in EV infrastructure, battery systems, and microgrid technology.

Construction is currently underway with the charging hub. The TRON chargers—designed for ultra-compact deployment and high performance—allow up to four vehicles to charge simultaneously using dynamic power sharing. Each dispenser can deliver up to 600kW, making it one of the fastest and most efficient solutions in the market.

“As communities across the U.S. accelerate the transition to electrified transportation, viveEV remains focused on building infrastructure that is fast, intelligent, reliable and built to last,” said Jason Kim, CEO of viveEV.

The TRON 600kW charger incorporates advanced thermal management, an Android-powered user interface with over-the-air updates, NACS and CCS1 connector compatibility, and an ergonomic cable management system. It’s designed to meet the needs of commercial and retail locations, offering scalable, durable, and user-friendly charging experiences.

viveEV has already deployed over 15,000 chargers worldwide, including in Korea, Japan, and growing U.S. markets. The Carrollton site represents the company’s commitment to enhancing EV accessibility and charging speed across North America.
