Nissan has officially pulled the wraps off the all-new, sixth-generation MICRA, reimagining its iconic compact car as a fully connected, all-electric B-segment vehicle with premium styling, practical innovation, and cutting-edge technology. Slated for launch in Europe later this year, the new MICRA is designed to meet the demands of modern urban drivers while embracing the future of zero-emission mobility.
With a rich legacy spanning over 40 years and five generations, the MICRA has long been a trusted name in the compact car segment. Now, for the first time as a pure EV, the sixth-generation MICRA brings a dramatic new attitude, refined interior comfort, and impressive EV performance — all while staying true to its unpretentious roots.
Audacious Design Meets Urban Practicality
Crafted at Nissan Design Europe (NDE) in London, the MICRA’s bold exterior features SUV-inspired styling, 18-inch wheels, sculpted surfaces, and striking light animations that greet and farewell the driver. Iconic headlamps and ornate LED taillamps complete its expressive look, while customers can choose from up to 14 exterior colour combinations, including two-tone options with black or grey roofs.

A dual 10.1-inch display setup offers both a configurable instrument panel and a wide touchscreen for infotainment. Upholstery choices in Modern, Audacious, and Chill trims provide a tailored interior experience.
Electric Performance with Real-World Range
Available in 40kWh and 52kWh battery configurations, the MICRA offers:
- 308km to 408km range (WLTP)
- Quick charge from 15% to 80% in 30 minutes
- V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) technology for external device charging
Despite its sturdy stance, the MICRA weighs as little as 1400kg, enabling agile urban maneuverability and dynamic performance — aided by a low battery center of gravity and advanced suspension geometry usually reserved for higher segments.
Smart Technology, Seamless Connectivity
NissanConnect with Google built-in brings a connected ecosystem to the MICRA, turning the car into a digital companion. The NissanConnect Services App enables remote access to vehicle features, including charging status, temperature control, and route planning — further enhancing the EV ownership experience.

Equipped with Nissan ProPilot Assist and a comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance systems, the new MICRA ensures top-tier safety in city traffic and on highways alike.
Compact Size, Big Impact
Measuring under 4 metres in length, the MICRA maintains its city-friendly compact size while offering 326 litres of trunk space — beating many rivals in the segment. With a long wheelbase of 2.54 metres, the car provides a roomier cabin and enhanced road stability.
European Launch Later This Year
The sixth-generation Nissan MICRA will be available in five-door configuration only and is expected to hit European showrooms by late 2025, reinforcing Nissan’s commitment to electrification and innovation in the compact car space.
