Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast is reinforcing its presence in Europe despite recent rumors of a potential market retreat. The Nasdaq-listed automaker has renewed its commitment to the region, with a particular focus on France, as part of its broader strategy to support Europe’s green mobility transition.

In a significant development, VinFast has signed a distribution agreement with ASTRADA SIMVA, its first official authorized dealer in France. This milestone marks a strategic shift toward a more efficient dealership model aimed at accelerating the adoption of EVs across Europe.

The partnership will see the launch of a new VinFast showroom in Aix-en-Provence, scheduled to open in June 2025. Customers will be able to explore and test drive the VF 6 (B-segment) and VF 8 (D-segment) models at the site, gaining firsthand experience of the vehicles’ design, technology, and performance.

At all VinFast points of sale operated by ASTRADA SIMVA, European customers will be immersed in the VinFast experience and will have the opportunity to explore in depth the design and features of the VF 6 (B-segment) and VF 8 (D-segment) electric vehicles.

Potential buyers will also have the opportunity to take the wheel for comprehensive test drives, allowing them to experience the performance and technology of these models before purchasing. Beyond the point of sale, these authorized dealerships will be essential hubs for genuine after-sales service, ensuring that vehicle maintenance and repairs are carried out to the highest standards. Customers will also benefit from a comprehensive warranty, providing peace of mind, as well as readily available genuine parts, ensuring the longevity and optimal performance of their VinFast vehicle.

VinFast has laid out ambitious plans to extend its dealership network beyond France to Germany, the Netherlands, and other key European markets. The company also intends to broaden its smart EV portfolio, reinforcing its long-term commitment to sustainable mobility solutions for European drivers.

Strengthening After-Sales Infrastructure Across Europe

To support its growing customer base, VinFast has invested in a robust after-sales service network, comprising 22 technical centers across Europe, including 12 in France. These service hubs will provide warranty support, tire services, high-voltage system maintenance, and general vehicle upkeep. To ensure a seamless ownership experience and build customer confidence, VinFast has established a strong network of after-sales service providers across Europe.

The Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer relies on 22 dedicated technical centers strategically located across the continent, including twelve in France. These strategically located service centers will offer a full range of services, including warranty repairs, high-voltage system maintenance, tire services, and general vehicle maintenance.

Each center is fully equipped to meet the specific needs of the VF 6 and VF 8, as well as future electric vehicles introduced on the Dutch market. To minimize vehicle downtime and maximize customer convenience, parts will be delivered at high frequencies, up to five times a day.
